Leveraging MuRong’s strong implementation capabilities and following several months of rapid project execution, MuRong has enabled KCB to deploy a next generation digital banking platform, accelerating KCB’s strategic expansion of its digital banking business across the African region.
The newly launched digital banking system is built on a distributed microservice architecture and supports flexible cloud deployment. It integrates core functionalities including self onboarding, account management, fund transfers, remittances, online payments, billing, and risk control. With robust functionality and full compliance with local regulatory requirements, the platform delivers a secure and seamless end to end digital banking experience for local customers. It also provides a solid foundation for KCB to introduce additional digital credit services and expand into a broader range of financial offerings, such as co branded insurance products through third party partnerships, in the next phase.
This launch marks the completion of KCB’s digital financial footprint across the African market, further strengthening its digital financial service capabilities. It provides a systematic foundation for building cross industry financial scenarios and enabling diversified ecosystem partnerships, allowing digital financial services to reach underserved customer segments and micro and small enterprises, and advancing financial inclusion.
Looking ahead, MuRong will continue to strengthen its technology research and development and global delivery capabilities. Through professional digital banking products and solutions, MuRong will empower more banking clients to expand into emerging markets and deliver comprehensive, end to end digital banking services.
