China Construction Bank, the second largest commercial bank in China, has built one of the most active digital banking operations in the country. Annual transaction volume has reached hundreds of billions of yuan. Cumulative transaction value surpassed RMB 1.7 trillion as of March 2026. The business spans hundreds of industry ecosystems, serving hundreds of millions of retail customers and small and medium enterprises, earning wide recognition for advancing financial inclusion.

In a long-term partnership with MuRong, CCB completed a full modernization of its digital banking core system. MuRong M5 runs the entire operation on a single platform, supporting onboarding, fund transfer, payment, spending, online lending, and fund escrow. An open API framework enables fast connectivity across CCB's broader ecosystem.
Scale demands performance. CCB's massive customer base generates high-concurrency transaction loads that leave no room for error. MuRong addressed this directly, implementing end-to-end performance optimizations across the full stack. Distributed architecture, containerized deployment, and elastic scaling work together to cut transaction latency and raise processing capacity. The system delivers uninterrupted 7x24 service availability, providing the technical foundation that trillion-yuan digital banking operations require.
The results speak for themselves. MuRong M5 has proven its maturity as a core banking infrastructure at commercial bank scale, supporting trillion-yuan transaction volumes while reducing operational costs and containing systemic risk.
