Press Release
The sun dipped low over Vipingo Ridge on 29 August 2026. Dust settled on the gravel paths. Tired riders rolled across the finish line to cheers from families who had waited all afternoon.
The LOOP Safari Gravel Series Vipingo Edition had come to an end.
MuRong was there as an Official Partner and Sponsor. We watched first-time riders push through the last kilometre. We saw parents lift children onto their shoulders for a better view. We shared a day of adventure, community and movement with people who came to ride, cheer or simply be together.
This was the fourth event of the 2026 season. It was also the first time the series reached the Kenyan Coast. Kenya Cycling Federation, Amani, Vipingo Ridge and MuRong made it possible.
The routes welcomed everyone. Kids pedalled their first short course. Seasoned riders took on 120km. Whether you ride for fun or to race, there was a place for you. Spectators came in free, with food and entertainment on site, so no one left out of the day.
For MuRong, this was more than a sponsorship. It was a chance to show up for a community far from our home market. We build digital financial solutions for customers around the world. We believe going global means giving back to the places we serve, as much as serving them with technology. We also believe technology works best when it brings people closer and makes daily life easier.
That belief felt real at Vipingo. Strangers helped each other fix chains. Riders waited for friends at the finish. Families shared meals on the grass.
In every region we serve, we want to belong. MuRong will keep supporting causes like the LOOP Safari Gravel Series, bringing more groups together, inviting more people in, and growing alongside the communities we work with.
Thank you to LOOP, Kenya Cycling Federation, Amani, Vipingo Ridge, and every rider, volunteer and spectator who made the day special. The Vipingo Edition is over. Our commitment to community, healthy living and technology for good carries on.
